Design of user interfaces

User interfaces are the only visible part of an application. The choice of user interface determines whether an application is perceived as "cool" or "boring". Every user and programmer has his or her own preferences, and even the board level of international corporations are controversially debated. They are also used as a basis for decision-making when approving budgets.
